Where I'm from

I am from the love of my parents, the laugh and the pain.                                                                               I'm from the green, white, and red.
I hold my chin up high as I walk through the streets.
I'm from the violets and roses.
I'm from the heart and soul of our dear God and our lovely Virgen De Guadalupe.
I'm from the ghetto city of Oakland.
I'm from dreams, believes, and happiness.
I come from a family full of joy, tears and hopes waiting to be accomplished.
I am from the believe to cherish the moment, ignore the pain, and dance in the rain, because life is too short to be living with regrets.
I am from the love of my parents, the laugh and the pain .

My Loved One

Blackie,
Do you remember when you used to play tug o war with one of my socks?
If you come back, there is going to be your own little bowl with the dog biscuits you loved.
I would put that Mexican song,"El Sonidito" you would dance and hop with.
Come back and you can cuddle with me on those rainy days, even when mom got mad.
You were always so cheerful on sunday mornings.
If you come back will you running to me like u used to everyday i came back from school?
We miss you!
